A community driven by a vision of freedom and autonomy.
Kiveclair is a Congolese educational organization working for the adoption of Bitcoin and open technologies as levers of individual and collective empowerment.
Kiveclair
Our story
Kiveclair was born in July 2021 in a moment where solidarity, urgency and the need to rebuild took on a very concrete meaning in Africa. This context deeply shaped our identity. Initially, our commitment was rooted in community support and local resilience. Very quickly, one conviction became clear: beyond one-off help, we also had to transmit lasting tools. It is with this in mind that Kiveclair gradually oriented its action toward Bitcoin education, then more broadly toward open technologies, artificial intelligence, open source software and tech entrepreneurship. Today, Kiveclair is entering a new phase: that of a more structured, more ambitious and more sustainable organization.
Our vision
We want to help build an Africa where young people can understand, use and create the technologies of the future in service of their freedom, dignity and prosperity.
Our values
Sovereignty

What we're building
Five spaces, one network: Academy (free training), Open Hub (shared tools), Community (membership and partnerships), Events (meetups, conferences, hackathons) and Media (watch and recordings). Everything is built locally, in the DRC, by and for the community.
